A wide, sculptural setting with a closed bezel. Carved by hand, the form tapers from the setting down to the band, holding its shape without a sharp edge. The stone sits high and close to the finger, vertical against the hand, held by metal that flows over its edges rather than framing it in a straight line. Its clear surface still catches the light through the setting. Nothing about the setting is symmetrical by design. The metal follows the shape of the stone rather than the other way around.
